Mission statement.
Just Because Ministries is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the city of Akron and supporting the homeless community by spreading the word of God through providing satisfying meals and cultivating change through prayer.
Primary objective.
Our primary objective is to feed and educate the homeless community about the word of God. Our goal is to motivate change through prayer and support while promoting positivity during a difficult time.
Funding.
As a non-profit organization, Just Because Ministries relies on the benevolent individuals, businesses, churches, and organizations to contribute food, volunteer time, and provide monetary donations to help feed the homeless community and provide much needed resources and supplies.
Dream it.
Just Because Ministries was created by Joe Ann Richmond. She saw a need in Akron Ohio to help feed the homeless community and to share the word of God along with her testimony. When asked “why do you want to feed the homeless?” she would always respond “just because”.
Build it.
Miss Richmond organized multiple food and clothing drives each year for the homeless. She enlisted the help of her family to support the drives and to help grow the non-profit organization.
Grow it.
Just Because Ministries is continuously looking to support the homeless community. We are expanding our services from not only providing meals and a prayer for the homeless but to include providing clothing, hygiene products, and direction to resources in hopes of finding housing and any other social services needed.
